Papers should be prepared using the following guidelines.

Paper structure

l Organization of the paper’s content should follow this scheme:

1、 Title

The first page begins with the title of the paper set in 14-point bold type, centred, Times New Roman. Use lower-case letters for all words in the title except for the first word and all proper nouns.

2、  Authors

About authors’ basic information, name, department, organization, city/state and country should be included. 

On the line beneath the title of the paper, enter the Author’s basic information of each author in 11-point italic type, normal weight, centred, Times New Roman, aligned to the left. Underline the presenting author only.

3、 Abstract

The word “Abstract” should be centred, 12-point bold type, Times new Roman. Separate the word “Abstract” and Authors’ basic information with two lines of space. The body of the abstract should be separated from both the word "abstract" and the keywords with one line of space.

The format of“Keywords” should be 11-point type, Times New Roman, normal weight. Separate Keywords and Body paragraphs with two lines of space.

Abstract must be typed in plain English.

Abstract must use a 11 point font with single line spacing

Abstract must not exceed 300 words, excluding authors’ basic information.

Ensure the abstract identifies the conference theme to which the paper is responding.

l Length

The appropriate length of your paper is about ten pages.

l Text Instruction for Proceedings

Preferred font is 11-point, normal weight, Times New Roman with single line spacing.

l Page margins

Page margins should be the Word defaults for A4 paper:

Top and bottom: 25.4 mm or 1 inch.

Left and right: 31.7 mm or 1.25 inches. 

l Text and paragraphs

1. Text should be justified on both the right and left sides.

2. Section headings should be 12-point bold type, Times New Roman， left alignment only. Any second level headings should be italicized, 12-point,normal weight, Times New Roman，left alignment only.

3. Paragraphs should not be indented; instead, separate paragraphs with one line of space.

4. Figure and table captions should be 10-point Arial, bolded.

5. Figures and tables should be numbered

6. Tables and figures should insert into the corresponding place in paper, rather than put it at the end of paper.

7. Pages should be numbered.

8. Explanation under the figure be italicized, 10-point Times New Roman，normal weight, centred.

9. Section heading should be separated from paragraphs with 0.5 line of space.

10. Please use author/date system (not footnoting) for references. Reference list should be prepared using the following examples as a guide:

Smith, R.M. (1984). Learning how to learn: Applied theory for adults. Open University Press, Milton Keynes.  

Billett, S. (2001). Learning throughout working life: Interdependencies at work. Studies in Continuing Education, 23:1, 19-35.
